Meet Bri
Before weddings, I was bartending by night and convincing myself I didn’t need another DIY project (spoiler: I did). I’ve always loved creating and fixing things — anything that mixes a little challenge with creativity. And yes, I can talk conspiracy theories for hours (moon landing debates welcome!).
When I met Brianna and Sarah, it all just made sense. We bonded instantly over weddings — the joy, the energy, the storytelling — and started dreaming about what it would look like to do wedding planning our way. That dream blossomed into Cork & Co Events, and I haven’t looked back since.
Meet Sarah
Once upon a time, I was a first grade teacher who knew something was missing. I had also decorated cakes and worked both front and back of house in restaurants. After leaving teaching, I decided to tend bar for a year to plan my wedding and figure out my career path. During tough times in teaching, I often said, 'I know what my second career will be—I want to be a wedding planner,' but I wasn’t sure how to make that happen. Then came the meeting that would change my life—Bri. I started working at a bar soon after returning home from my honeymoon, and coincidentally, Brianna and Sarah had been working there too, both also on their honeymoon when I had my first shift. From that moment, we shared an instant love for wedding design, and the spark for wedding planning never faded.
